Manchester United legend Peter Schmeichel has questioned his former club over the signing of Real Madrid midfielder Casemiro.
“Red Devils” agreed a fee with “White King” about the signing of the Brazilian national ufabet team midfielder after being link with Barcelona’s Frenkie de Jong all summer. But Schmeichel questioned the signing of this time.
“I’m surprised, I have to be honest because nobody mentioned Casemiro in the last transfer window,” Schmeichel said. “The name was never mention. I think he’s great at Real Madrid. I’m impress with his play.”
“He was injure and came back and made the defense tighter. What he did with Real Madrid was in front of the back four, defending, they had Toni Kroos and Luka Modric passing the ball.
“If you play in the No 6 position at Manchester United you are expect to go forward with the ball and be involved in the game. What Ten Hag needs is possession. Control the game and always want to put pressure on the ball.”
